Xiaomi has launched two new mid-range smartphones in 2022: the Xiaomi 11i and Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge. The important feature is the Hypercharge’s 120-minute rapid charging, which the manufacturer says can provide a full charge in only 15 minutes. Let’s take a look at the most recent Xiaomi smartphones.
In terms of features, the Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge has a 120Hz Full-HD+ AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 1200 nits. The screen is likewise protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5, and there is a centrally aligned hole-punch cutout for the solitary selfie camera. The rear panel retains the EVOL design debuted on the Redmi Note 10 series. We may also see Xiaomi branding instead of Mi branding at the bottom.
The Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge has three cameras and an LED flash on the rear. The rear camera system has a 108-megapixel HM2 image sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with a 120-degree field-of-view sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro snapper. It comes with a 16-megapixel camera on the front for selfies and video calls. According to Xiaomi, the front camera captures varied skin tones.
The Xiaomi 11i will be priced at Rs 24,999 for the 6GB RAM+128GB model, and Rs 26,999 for the 8GB RAM+256GB model. The 6GB, RAM+128GB version of the Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge will cost Rs 26,999, while the 8GB RAM model with 256GB storage will cost Rs 28,999. Xiaomi also intends to sell the 120W charging package separately with a cable for Rs 3999, though no specific timetable has been set. The Xiaomi 11i series will be available in four color options beginning January 12: Pacific Pearl, Stealth Black, Camo Green, and Purple Mist.
