This day aims on taking needed actions and making people aware of these actions that are needed for securing food and good nutrition and also awaring people about how important it is for people to gain good nutrition.
Along with this, its main focus is on poor and vulnerable communities around the world.
On this day of World Food Day 2020, the site of FAO mentioned in its site that World Food Day is calling for global solidarity to help all populations, and especially the most vulnerable, to recover from the crisis, and to make food systems more resilient and robust so they can withstand increasing volatility and climate shocks, deliver affordable and sustainable healthy diets for all, and decent livelihoods for food system workers.
This will require improved social protection schemes and new opportunities offered through digitalization and e-commerce, but also more sustainable agricultural practices that preserve the Earth’s natural resources, our health, and the climate.

It is very important for people to know how to celebrate and involve in World Food Day and for this FAO asked people that they must produce, plant, harvest, fish, or transport food.
And those people who are not able to do this must come forward to thank these people who are known as #FoodHeroes by FAO. And we must feel thankful that how these people always work to provide food to all no matter what the situation is.
