There are many features of WhatsApp that allow users to express their opinions, emotions, and thoughts creatively. In addition to the standard image and video sharing features. WhatsApp also offers features that will enable users of this messaging app to share stickers, GIFs, and doodles. This is not enough, and there is another feature of WhatsApp that allows its users to convert reasonably short videos to GIFs. This adds to the ability to add third-party sticker packs to the WhatsApp sticker library. Now, WhatsApp plans to add another feature to its platform that will make conversations more interesting.
According to a report by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is working on a feature that will allow its users to convert their images into stickers. Until now, the only way to convert your image to a sticker was to use third-party sticker apps. The messaging app will allow users to convert pictures to WhatsApp stickers natively in the app.
When WhatsApp adds this capability to its Android and iOS apps, a new sticker symbol will appear to the right of the View Once option in the caption bar, according to the blog site. The supplied image will be shared as a sticker when WhatsApp users pick this Caption button. This sticker comes in a square box configuration, similar to that of many third-party sticker packs. There are no possibilities to change the sticker before sharing it right now. Users are unable to remove a specific element from an image they have submitted. They also won’t be able to turn it into an animated sticker by adding movement. At least not yet. It’s feasible that WhatsApp will add this feature when it refines the current feature.
In terms of availability, this WhatsApp feature is currently in development. It means that the messaging app is working on it to verify that it runs smoothly before releasing it. It’s being made for WhatsApp’s Android and iOS applications. Beta users, on the other hand, will have to wait for this feature. WhatsApp may add the ability to transform photographs into stickers in a future update to its WhatsApp beta for iOS and WhatsApp beta for Android apps. All we have to do till then is wait.
