The Vivo X70 Pro and Vivo X70 Pro Plus smartphones are slated to go on sale in the country today when the company unveils its flagship X70 series handsets. Due to the new coronavirus pandemic, the launch ceremony will be held digitally and live-streamed on social media platforms and online like most others in the country. Thanks to the smartphones’ launching in China earlier this month, we already know a lot about the Vivo X70 series, which will be released in the country at 12 p.m. today. The X70 Pro and X70 Pro Plus will both come with an Ultra-sensing Gimbal Camera and a Zeiss T coating, according to Vivo. According to 91Mobiles, the Vivo X70 Pro will be released with an Exynos 1080 SoC and a 4.450mAh battery with 44W charging, while the Vivo X70 Pro Plus will be released with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus SoC and a 4500mAh battery with 55W charging.

The Vivo X70 Pro smartphone is believed to feature a 50MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultrawide lens, 12MP and 8MP sensors for depth and telephoto shooting, and a 32 MP selfie shooter on the front. Meanwhile, the Vivo X70 Pro Plus smartphone is rumoured to include a 50MP camera sensor with a 12MP ultrawide lens and 12MP and 8MP depth and telephoto sensors. A 32 MP front-facing camera could be included in the Vivo X70 Pro Plus.

The Vivo X70 Pro costs RMB 4299 (about 49,300) in China for the 8GB/128GB model and RMB 4599 (approximately 52,700) for the 8GB/256GB model. Meanwhile, the Vivo X70 Pro Plus costs RMB 5499 (about 63,130) for the 8GB/256GB model, RMB 5999 (approximately 68,800) for the 12GB/256GB model, and RMB 6999 (approximately 80,300) for the 12GB/512GB model in China. However, it is unclear whether or not these varieties would be released in India and how much the business will charge for them.
