Next week, the Vivo T1 5G will debut in India. In October 2021, the phone was revealed in China for the first time. The smartphone will now be available in India on February 9, the same day as the Redmi Note 11 and 11S.

The Vivo T1 5G will be available in India starting February 9 through Flipkart. On the e-commerce platform, a product page for the gadget has already been created.

According to a press statement, the smartphone will be the first product under the new Series T. The new smartphone will be released on February 9 in India and sold through Flipkart and other major retailers, as evidenced by the collaboration mentioned above.

In terms of what to anticipate from the phone, Vivo claims that the T1 5G will be “the quickest and slimmest 5G smartphone in the sub-20,000 segment.” Vivo’s line of compact smartphones will now include a new affordable category. Vivo already offers phones in various price categories, such as the Vivo V21 and Vivo V23 5G, which have a thickness of less than 8mm and are available in India.

Aside from that, the Vivo T1 5G will have “multi-dimensional turbo performance” and a “trendy design,” according to the manufacturer. This will ensure that the smartphone, like its previous phones, is yet another attempt by Vivo to target Gen Z customers and young millennials in the nation.

While there are few specifics regarding the Vivo T1 5G, the phone was previously introduced in China, providing an in-depth look at its specifications. The smartphone has a starting price of CNY 2,199 (about 25,800) in China, indicating that it would be priced in the sub-30K range in India. However, a follow-up tweet to the initial post reveals that the Vivo T1 will have a starting price of under $20,000.

The Vivo T1 5G has a 6.67-inch LCD screen with a resolution of Full HD+ (2400×1080 pixels) and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The phone runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The phone comes pre-installed with Android 11 with Vivo’s Funtouch OS 12 on top.

The Tivo T1 5G has a 5,000 mAh battery and can charge at 44 watts. A 3.5mm audio port and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner are among the phone’s other features.
