Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the new interview schedule for Civil Services Exam 2020. UPSC Civil Services Exam 2020 interview will now be held from August 2 to September 22. The commission released the schedule of 2046 candidates who have reached the interview round on its official website upsc.gov.in. Candidates can check through their roll number on which date and in which session their interview will be held. The first session will be held at 9 am and the second at 1 pm.
The commission has said that the admit cards of the candidates for appearing in the interview will be issued very soon. Candidates will be able to download them by visiting upsc.gov.in and upsconline.in. Any request for a change of time and date of interview will not be entertained.
Important dates of UPSC Civil Services
It is noteworthy that the interviews of Civil Services Examination 2020 were going to start from April 26. But they were postponed due to the dreadful wave of the Covid-19 epidemic in the country. The commission had issued a fresh notice saying that it would not be possible to conduct interviews and recruitment examinations in the corona infection and lockdown. The commission had said that the candidates would be informed 15 days before the commencement of the interview.
Interviews are to be held at UPSC Office, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi.
The Commission conducts Civil Services Examination every year in three phases – Preliminary, Main and Interview – to select officers of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and Indian Police Service (IPS).
