Washington,US President Donald Trump suggested to Republicans that he should use the so-called ‘nuclear-substitute’, in which the 100-member Senate needs to get an ordinary majority instead of 60. The round of intense dialogue with the Democrats continues for the first time in nearly five years in connection with government functioning.

The barely used nuclear or constitutional option in US Congress action is a parliamentary process that allows the US Senate to abrogate any rule or law by majority vote.

Senate Majority Mitch McConnell said that although the possibility of using this option by Republicans is very low. Millions of employees of the federal government will not return to work because Senate did not pass the bill required to fund the federal government’s expenses due to opposition from the Democratic Senators.
