Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut starrer ‘Thalaivi’ is based on the biography of the late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa. ‘Thalaivi’ will be made as a pan Indian movie. The film was directed by KL Vijay. On Tuesday (March 23), the film team released the trailer of ‘Talaivi’ on the occasion of Jayalalithaa’s birth anniversary.
The trailer is impressive throughout. With this, huge expectations are placed on the film. The trailer begins with the dialogue, “Impatient to want to teach us politics with a movie star.” MGR invites Jayalalithaa to enter politics. The film will show how she became a leader in Tamil politics after that. The dialogues she uttered exploded like bullets in the insulting scenes of Jayalalithaa pulling her sari in the assembly.
The film was produced by Vishnuvardhan Induri and Shailesh R Singh on the Vibri banner. Kangana Ranaut played the role of Jayalalithaa in ‘Thalaivi’. Aravindaswamy played the role of MGR. Although the trolls came up with Kangana in the first look poster released during the opening of the film, it seems to have given a tough answer with the trailer. The film is set to release worldwide on April 23 in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi.
