Tecno Phantom X2 5G India Launch Confirmed
The Tecno Phantom X2 5G will undoubtedly go on sale in India soon. The MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC-powered smartphone will be available for pre-order on Amazon on January 2 and will be on sale starting on January 9. A few days ago, the Tecno Phantom X2 and Phantom X2 Pro were introduced in the United Arab Emirates. The Tecno Phantom X2 includes a triple back camera arrangement, with a 64-megapixel primary sensor serving as its focal point, and a display with a 120Hz refresh rate. A 5,160mAh battery with 45W fast charging capabilities powers the smartphone.
On Monday, the Chinese smartphone company teased the Tecno Phantom X2 5G’s upcoming India debut on Twitter.
The smartphone will be available for pre-order on January 2 through Amazon, and sales will begin on January 9. The official launch date and price information for India have not yet been made public.
To tease the Tecno Phantom X2’s arrival in India, Amazon has separately set up a special landing page on their website. The 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model of the 5G smartphone was introduced in Saudi Arabia earlier this month, with a price of SAR 2699 (about Rs. 59,200). It is available in the colours Moonlight Silver and Stardust Grey.

The global launch of the Tecno Phantom X2 5G has already verified the device’s characteristics. It has a 6.8-inch full-HD+ curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and runs HiOS 12, an Android 12-based operating system. It has 256GB of storage, 8GB of RAM, and a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC as its power source.
A 64-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 13-megapixel secondary sensor, and a 2-megapixel sensor make up the triple rear camera configuration on the smartphone. A 32-megapixel camera is available for selfies and video calls. A 5,160mAh battery with 45W rapid charging capabilities powers it.
