With the introduction of a 250cc model beginning at 2.11 lakh, the Suzuki V-Strom SX has made adventure travelling more accessible. The V-Strom SX borrows heavily from the larger 650cc V-Strom in terms of design and aesthetics. Here’s all you need to know about the new V-Strom.

As previously said, the V-Strom SX borrows heavily from its larger brother, but it also draws inspiration from the Gixxer 250. The naked Gixxer 250 appears to share the single LED headlight, while the rear also receives LED tail lights. The V-Strom 650 has the same beak design on the front.

The bike is tall, and it features a split-seat layout with an 835mm seat height and the ability to lower it by 25mm, which should be suitable for novice or shorter riders. A cowling is also installed on the engine to protect it from harm. The V-Strom SX is available in three colours, one of which, Champion Yellow No.2, is shared with the larger V-Strom. Black and red with contrasting stickers are the other two colour possibilities.

Suzuki’s own Ride Connect technology, which, like any other linked system, provides for turn-by-turn navigation, call alerts, and WhatsApp and SMS notifications, is included in the V-Strom SX’s digital instrument cluster. A USB port is also located near the instrument cluster, which is easily accessible and essential for an adventure tourer. ABS and a comprehensive accessory suite, including fuel tank protection, a lower seat option, and wheel decals, are among the V-other Strom’s features.

All three colour options of the Suzuki V-Strom SX 250 are priced at 2.11 lakh. Suzuki intends for the bike to be used not only as an adventure tourer or a lifestyle vehicle but also for regular riding such as commuting. At the lower end of the range, the V-Strom SX will compete with the Royal Enfield Himalayan, KTM 250 Adventure, Yezdi Adventure, and Hero Xpulse 200. Given the Gixxer’s popularity, it’s not a bad idea to gamble on the infant V-Strom. The new Suzuki V-Strom SX is already available at Indian dealerships.
