Stock Market on the occasion of Christmas, the futures market will be closed today

Due to Christmas 25 December 2020 holiday, trading is closed in the stock market and futures market today. Trading in the evening market in the futures market will be closed on Friday. The birth anniversary of the founder of Christianity, Jesus Christ, is celebrated on 25 December as a Christmas festival.

Markets will open on December 28

Indian stock market and futures market will now open for regular trading on Monday (28 Dec 2020). The 30-share Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) -based major sensitive index Sensex closed at 46,973.54, up 529.36 points or 1.14 per cent from the session on Thursday. The National Stock Exchange (NSE) Nifty, a major sensitive index based on 50 stocks. Also closed at 13,749.25, up 148.15 points or 1.09 per cent from the previous session.

Trading on Commodity Exchange completely closed today
In the evening session also, the operations of the country’s largest commodity exchange Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) will be completely closed.
