Sony has launched its new XR OLED A80K smart TV series in India, increasing its premium smart TV range under the Bravia brand. This Sony smart TV series introduces new models that are all driven by Sony’s Cognitive Processor XR, including 4K upscaling, Dolby Vision, and Dolby Atmos, and are available in a variety of sizes, including 55-inch, 65-inch, and 77-inch versions. Yes, it does include a special mode for gamers.

There are three versions in the current A80K series: the 55-inch XR-55A80K, the 65-inch XR-65A80K, and the 77-inch XR-77A80K. The XR Triluminos Pro technology, which is driven by the XR Cognitive Processor, allows for over a billion colours. It also has 4K resolution at 120 frames per second, Variable Refresh Rate, Auto Low Latency Mode, and Auto HDR Tone. Sony’s new premium smart TV series includes a dedicated gaming mode with HDMI 2.1 compatibility, which is ideal for gamers.

These smart TVs also feature HDR and Dolby Vision, as well as Acoustic Surface Audio+ and 3D sound upscaling, as well as OLED XR Motion Clarity technology. Surprisingly, there is a Sony Bravia Cam, which allows televisions to alter image and sound characteristics while taking the room layout into account. It recognises motions and proximity to activate additional functionalities.

The XR-65A80K model in Sony’s new XR OLED A80K series costs Rs. 2,79,990. The Sony Bravia XR-77A80K, on the other hand, costs Rs. 6,99,900. All of these models are now available for purchase through both online and offline sources. Online purchasing options include Sony shops, electronic retail locations, and major e-commerce platforms.
