Sikh man shot dead in Canada.

Toronto, Some unknown people in Canada shot a 19-year-old Sikh young man out of his house and killed him. Police said that a relative of the youth was also injured in this incident. Global News quoted his family as saying that Gagandeep Singh Dhaliwal was familiar with the local police but had no criminal record.




He told that he returned from a marriage with his family on Sunday and talked to his relative outside to the garage, at the same time unknown people started firing. The Abbotsford Police Department said that officials got the news of shooting at a house at around 11:30 in the night.

Officials who arrived on the spot found that two people were shot. According to the news, Dhaliwal was declared dead after sometime after taking the hospital and his relative is still undergoing treatment. The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IIHT) said in a statement, “So far, it is not clear what was the reason behind the firing, but the investigators believe that this was an attack by the target.”
