Samsung has introduced a special version of its popular smartphone Galaxy S20. This version is specially designed for the American Army. The company has named it Galaxy S20 Tactical Edition. Many features have been given in the phone such that the soldiers working in the field can use it in the most difficult situations.
The company says that highly-customized software has been provided in the Galaxy S20 Tactical Edition. The features given in this phone are designed in such a way that help operators navigate complex areas and contact the command unit.
The phone has a 6.2-inch Dynamic Amoled QHD + display, which has a refresh rate of 120Hz. The phone has Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, 12 GB RAM, 128 GB internal storage. A triple camera setup has been given on the phone. The rear camera has a 12-megapixel primary lens, a 64-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 12-megapixel ultraviolet angle lens. For selfie, it has a 10-megapixel front camera. The phone has a 4000mAh battery, which supports wired and wireless charging.
Talking about custom software, it has support for multiple mission applications like ATAK, APASS, KILLSWITCH, and BATDOK. Apart from this, through the Samsung Dex software provided on the phone, you can connect the phone to the monitor and complete the mission report, training, and mission plan.
The phone has a night vision mode
This phone has a night-vision mode, which allows users to turn the display on or off when wearing night-vision eyewear. It also has a stealth mode that disables the LTE of the phone and mutes all radio frequency broadcasting. Samsung has designed the phone in such a way that it remains unlocked when applied on the chest. The phone will be sold in the third quarter.
