Roposo crosses 100 million on Google Play store: A few months ago, the Chinese app TikTok was banned in India, after which many short video making apps came into the Indian market and one of these apps is Roposo. Like TikTok, it gives people a platform to share short videos. This short video sharing app has announced that it has become the first Indian app to cross the 100 million mark on the Google Play store.

Roposo’s proprietary company Glance said it was a great pleasure for them to do so. Glance reached 100 million in May 2020 itself. The company said Glance now has two of the country’s largest content platforms, Roposo and Glance, which are Made in India. Both the platforms collectively reach 40% of India’s smartphone users.

“We are proud to be the first Indian short video app to cross 100 million users. This shows the overwhelming love of Indian users for the company and towards content creators. With Glance and Roposo we have the largest #MadeInIndia platforms that collectively reach 40% of India’s smartphone users. We hope to build on this success and help establish India as a major digital hub with the US and China. “, said the founder and CEO of the company.

Roposo is a short video making app available in 12 languages. It gets 2 billion views on everyday basis. A few months ago, the Chinese app TikTok was banned in India, after which many Indian apps also came on the market. The company says that within two days of TikTok being banned, the company had added 2.2 million customers.
