The country is celebrating its 72nd Republic Day today. On the occasion of Republic Day, India is showcasing its military prowess on the Rajpath. In the parade, the tableau of different states and the ministry along with the tableau of the three armies is coming out on the Rajpath. President Ram Nath Kovind reached the Rajpath on Tuesday and hoisted the tricolour. During this time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was present, after which the parade started on Rajpath. Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached the National War Memorial and paid tribute to the martyrs.
The Parade is going to be special this time. For the first time, the fighter aircraft Rafael will show its strength. Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted the countrymen on Republic Day.
Uniqueness in this year’s Republic Day
In the midst of the Coronavirus pandemic, the time of celebrations on Delhi’s Rajpath has been reduced. The route of the Republic Day parade was also shortened. This time the parade will start from Vijay Chowk to the National Stadium. While every time the parade started from Rajpath and went to the Red Fort. This time there is no chief guest in the Republic Day celebrations. Also, the number of viewers has also been limited.
There are 144 soldiers in a continent who attend the parade each time. This time the squad will be small and it will have 96 soldiers. Also this time a total of 18 squads of the army and paramilitary forces will participate in the parade. This time there will not be a squad of ex-servicemen.
The main attraction of the parade will be the 122-member Continent of Bangladesh. 32 tableaux of different states will be taken out in the parade. After the decision of Ram temple in November 2019, this time there will be a presentation of Ram temple. It will be there in the tableau of Uttar Pradesh in Republic Day parade.
