Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Jio has been attracting consumers with a brain-storming strategy and improved connectivity and continued to dominate the Delhi circle with a market share of 35.33 per cent in June. According to the latest data from the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), Reliance Jio’s network in Delhi Circle had more than one crore 83 lakh subscribers as of the end of June and continues to be the king of the company with a 35.33 per cent market share.
Apart from the capital in Delhi Circle, Gurugram and Faridabad in Haryana and Gautam Budh Nagar and Ghaziabad districts of Uttar Pradesh. At the beginning of the year, Reliance Jio had secured the number one position in Delhi Circle by tossing Voda-Idea. In the first 06 months from January to June, Reliance Jio further strengthened its position by adding around 9.03 lakh customers.
Reliance Jio has about 2 million more subscribers than Voda-Idea, ranked number two in Delhi Circle. In the race for customer numbers, Bharti Airtel lags at number three. It is behind 33 lakh 40 thousand customers from Reliance Jio and about 13.7 million from Voda Idea.
In the first six months of this year from January to June, more than 18 lakh eight thousand mobile phone customers of Vodafone-Idea and Airtel in Delhi circle stopped their SIMs. Voda-Idea, once number one in Delhi circle, got the biggest shock.

In June itself, the company added around 4.5 million customers. Bharti Airtel is second with 316.6 million subscribers and Voda-Idea is third with 30.51 million. In June, Voda-Idea lost more than 48 lakh customers across the country, while 11 lakh 28 thousand subscribers of Airtel left.
