The Realme GT Neo 3 will be available in India on April 29. Madhav Sheth, the CEO of Realme India, made the news on the newest episode of his YouTube series “AskMadhav.” Sheth, in response to one of the GT Neo 3 questions, stated that fans will not have to wait long for the GT Neo 3 and went on to give the debut date. The Realme GT Neo 3 was announced a few days ago in China as the company’s first phone to have 150W fast charging.

In China, there are two versions of the new GT Neo 3. The higher version features 150W rapid charging, which fills the battery in roughly 20 minutes, according to the firm, while the cheaper or base version has 80W charging, which fills the battery in under 30 minutes, according to the company. Interestingly, the same rapid charging features will be available on the OnePlus 10R, which is rumoured to be a rebranded version of the GT Neo 3 according to rumours.

The smartphone comes with a number of flagship-level features. It has a 6.7-inch 2K display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, 1000Hz touch sampling rate, and HDR10+ compatibility. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 octa-core CPU with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The Realme GT Neo 3 comes with Realme UI 3.0, although in China, it runs Android 11 rather than Android 12. Android 12 may be available on the GT Neo 3 in India.

The GT Neo 3’s performance will appeal to gamers, while photographers will benefit from the 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor. To produce reliable movies, this sensor offers both optical and electrical image stabilisation. An ultra-wide-angle lens with a 119-degree field of view and a macro camera are included in the back camera system. The selfie camera is housed within the punch-hole on the GT Neo 3’s display. The phone comes in two versions, each with a different charging speed. A 5000mAh battery powers the 80W model, while a 4500mAh battery powers the 150W model. According to Realme, an 80W charger can charge a 100 percent battery in 32 minutes, while a 150W charger can charge a 50% cell in 5 minutes.

The pricing of the Realme GT Neo 3 in India is unknown at this time, as Realme is unlikely to publish it before the launch, and rumours about the price are similarly scarce. However, based on the phone’s Chinese costs, we can make an educated approximation. The Realme GT Neo 3 costs CNY 1,999 for an 80W model and CNY 2,699 for a 150W model. These amounts are about Rs 24,000 and Rs 33,000, respectively. If the GT Neo 3’s predicted price points are any indicator, Realme’s next phone will be in the mid-range.
