Even the happiest, the most cheery people, have bad days. And it’s completely normal. Many people have days when they don’t feel like talking, they don’t feel like doing things they love, maybe draw, dance or sing. And it’s okay to feel that way. What is not okay is giving up or taking the wrong way. If you’re having a bad day, I want you to read and remember this:

• You are loved

There are many people out there who love you unconditionally, no matter what. Your family, your friends, they love you. There is someone out there who thinks about you every night before sleeping. You are loved and adored by many people.

• You matter

Your existence matters to many people. Everyone’s life would be different without you. You probably made someone laugh or at least smile this week. You are an amazing person and you matter to many people out there.

• You will succeed in life

Success takes time. Don’t give up. If you failed this time, remember, failure is the stepping stone to success. Keep trying and trust me, someday you will definitely succeed in life.

• You are beautiful/handsome

Everyone is unique. You look great the way you are. Don’t change yourself for anyone. You are enough. You are beautiful/handsome. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

• People care about you

Your parents, your close friends, that genuinely care about you. They feel bad when you’re upset. That’s how much they care about you. Don’t ever feel worthless. You are worth everything. You deserve the world. Don’t settle for less.

• You are not alone

Lastly, you are not alone. There are many people who have bad days and it’s just fine to feel that way. Surround yourself with people who love you. Always remember, you are never alone.
