Reliance Communications (RCOM), led by Anil Ambani, on Thursday said that he has requested the company’s lenders to give ‘immediate clearance’ to pay a direct payment of Rs 260 crore to Ericsson’s bank account. This step came on Wednesday after the Supreme Court gave directions to RCom to pay Ericsson India Rs 453 crore in four weeks.

RCom spokesperson said, “Reliance Communications has requested immediate approval for issuing nearly Rs 260 crore from income tax return from its bankers directly to Ericsson from their bank account.” The company has already deposited Rs 118 crore with the Supreme Court.

RCom further said that he is confident about arranging more than 200 crores of rupees to make Ericsson payable so that Ericsson paid a total of 550 crores and his interest in the four weeks allotted by the Supreme Court. Could go. ‘
