Rajinikanth, well known by his supporters as “Thalaiva,” is 72 today. The megastar’s birthday is observed as a festival in the south of India, where he is revered as a deity. Shivaji Rao Gaekwad, better known as Rajinikanth, went from working as a bus operator in Bengaluru to becoming a well-known actor ten years later.

He strives to help the underprivileged but runs with dishonest bureaucrats and politicians who want to stop him. In addition to Rajinikanth, the movie also prominently featured Shriya Saran, Vivek, Suman, Manivannan, and Raghuvaran.
Baashha (1995)
In the film Baashha, directed by Suresh Krissna, Rajinikanth plays an auto driver who is continually eluding his violent past only to be compelled to go back to his criminal roots in order to rescue his sister. Raghuvaran and Nagma are the movie’s stars.
Enthiran (2010)
Enthiran, a science fiction action movie written and directed by S Shankar, also stars Danny Denzongpa, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and Rajinikanth. Rajini performs the role of a scientist who builds a robot version of himself that goes bad. This film has a sequel called 2.0 and was translated into Hindi as Robot with the lead actors.
