The citizens of Pakistan will not be able to join the annual Urs in the Dargah of Khwaja Nizamuddin Auliya, New Delhi this time. This is because India does not issue visas to Pakistani nationals on behalf of India.

The Pakistan Foreign Office’s office has told that due to non-issue of visa to the pilgrims of Pakistan, they will not be able to attend Khwaja Nizamuddin Auliya’s annual Urs (ceremony).

Referring to India’s decision not to grant visas to the passengers in the last minute, he said, “This is a violation of the 1974 protocol related to religious dargah between India and Pakistan.”

The Pakistani Foreign Ministry has said in its statement, “As a result of India’s decision, 192 Pakistani Zaireen will be shocked to join Urs.”
