Pak claims wrong, no drone attack outside Afghan: Pentagon.
Washington, US Defense Department Pentagon has dismissed Islamabad’s claims on a terrorist attack by drone strikes in Pakistan’s border. Defense spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Mike Andrews said, “In response to the Pakistan government’s claim of aerial attacks in Pakistan by the US Army on January 24, I can confirm that the Defense Department did not attack any air out of Afghanistan.”
If there is a drone attack, it usually does the CIA or the army. The CIA has not yet reacted to the drone strikes inside Pakistan. In a statement, Pakistan condemned the American drone attack in Kurram Agency, saying, “The one-sided action is harmful to the spirit of cooperation between the two countries in the fight against terrorism.”
According to reports, Ahsan alias Khairi, commander of Haqqani network and two of his companions were killed in a drone attack in Kurram Agency area of Pakistan.
