Karachi, In India, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Padmavat is released between the opposition and the ruckus. Now the film has got clear the way to release this film in Pakistan. The film has been given the U certificate in Pakistan. The Pakistani film censor board has passed the film without any cuts.
Central Board of Film Sensors Pakistan’s Chief Mobishir Hassan told news agency IANS from Islamabad that the film Padmav has been declared suitable for the performance. After the opinion of movie distributors and some historians, the film has been given the U certificate. Tell that in this movie, Muslim ruler Alauddin Khilji has been shown in the negative role.
Hassan said, “We are not against creative freedom and the performance of any film for people’s entertainment. There are historical aspects in the movie too, so some experts have been consulted for this. Waqar Ali Shah, the head of the Department of History of the Quaid-e-Azam University, was also invited to watch the film. External members of CBFC do not have the right to vote, but they are called as experts to give their opinion.
In Pakistan, Satish Reddy, the big distributor of Bollywood films, hopes that the film will get good response. He said that in the coming week, hopefully, the film will get very good response in Pakistan. There has been a film release in many cities in India, but before the film there are reports of violence and opposition from different parts of the country.
