Oracle has cut off nearly 100 employees in India. It is being seen as an attempt to restructure the company. This sort of cut in the company has happened when some of its top executives – Thomas Kurian and Amit Zaveri resigned to join Google a few days ago. By the way, the last month of the financial year is going on, in which it is normal to get rid of poor performing employees. But this sort of Oracle looks bigger than that.
According to an article published in The Times of India, this sorting has affected software developers, quality assurance and documenting professional. A source told on condition of anonymity, “Some employees were asked to come for meetings with their own laptops. It was an indication that they would have been asked to surrender the laptops and sign off.
