In India, OnePlus is planning to release the successor to the OnePlus Nord series, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G. The virtual launch ceremony is set to begin at 7 p.m. today.
The smartphone company will also unveil its new Smart TVs under the OnePlus brand during the launch of the Nord series.
Meanwhile, the company has revealed that the Media Tek Dimensity 900 SoC will power the all-new Nord CE 2 5G. The new gadget will most likely run Android 11 with OxygenOS on top of it.
The new handset will be unveiled during a virtual event that will be broadcast live on the OnePlus India YouTube channel and the company’s website.
A new colour option called Bahama Blue will be available for the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G.
A 65W Super VOOC charger is compatible with the 5G phone. It can charge the device in 15 minutes, providing enough power to run the software and hardware for a day.

The gadget is believed to include a full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080*2400 pixels. It could have a refresh rate of 90Hz.
Aside from that, the phone is rumoured to include an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro camera.
The smartphone is said to be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset. The phone is expected to come in two flavours: 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage.
According to the reports, OnePlus will likely provide OxgenOS 12, a 4,500mAh battery, and a 65W fast charger, as well as OxgenOS 12.
