OnePlus Nord 2T 5G launched with a fast-charging battery!
The OnePlus Nord 2T 5G has been unveiled, and starting on July 5 it will be sold in India. The new smartphone is priced affordably yet has flagship features. The most recent addition to the OnePlus Nord line of smartphones is the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G. A company statement reveals that the most recent launch takes the flagship essentials of the OnePlus Nord 2 – the same flagship 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging that debuted on the OnePlus 10 Pro, a faster, fully upgraded MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset, an AI-enhanced flagship camera from the OnePlus 10R, as well as OxygenOS 12.1 – to deliver a faster experience.
The MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset, which features an octa-core CPU with speeds up to 3 GHz, powers the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G. According to OnePlus, this translates into greater gaming performance, more effective power use, and better temperature control with HyperEngine 5.0.
To provide a quicker experience, the MediaTek Dimensity 1300 is paired with up to 12 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The OnePlus Nord 2T 5G offers Wi-Fi/ Bluetooth Hybrid 2.0 technology, which minimises audio delay when the phone is concurrently linked to Bluetooth and Wi-Fi devices and enables more constant data rates when connected to Wi-Fi networks.
The smartphone features a large 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 90 Hz. You can view films from well-known streaming services like Netflix and Amazon Prime Video with more vibrant colours if your device supports HDR10+.
The OnePlus Nord 2T 5G’s twin ambient light sensors on the front and back automatically alter the brightness of the device’s display to best fit the surrounding conditions for a better, more pleasant viewing experience.
With OxygenOS 12.1, which is based on Android 12, the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G has increased power efficiency while enabling multitasking and smoother gallery viewing.
With the same premium 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging technology as the OnePlus 10 Pro, the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G can charge its 4,500 mAh dual-cell battery from 0% to 100% in only 27 minutes. And it just takes 15 minutes to restore the battery’s power when it runs out in the middle of the day. This is a 120% speed increase over the OnePlus Nord’s first model.
According to the corporate statement, the user’s safety is not jeopardised by such high-powered charging. TÜV Rheinland has validated the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G for secure rapid charging and use. Additionally, the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G boasts 9 internal temperature sensors that continuously track the charging temperature to guarantee that the phone is kept secure and cool.
The OnePlus Nord 2T 5G camera unit on the back consists of the OnePlus’ top-tier 50 MP Sony IMX766 sensor camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 120° ultra-wide camera, and a 2 MP mono lens. OIS was first featured in the OnePlus 10R.
According to reports, this camera can take photographs that are brighter and more detailed even in low-light conditions. You can capture more of the scene with the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G’s 8 MP ultra-wide camera, which has a 120° field of view.
The MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset, which is another characteristic of the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G, supports AI computational photography and enables low-light photographs.
The AI Highlight Video mode on this new smartphone uses Sony’s DOL-HDR image processing technology to enhance the brightness, colour, and contrast of video clips when recording in dim or uneven lighting conditions or low light. It can take slow-motion video at up to 960 frames per second, allowing you to catch swift motions in great clarity.
The OnePlus Nord 2T 5G has the same 32 MP front-facing sensor as the OnePlus 10 Pro for selfies. Both electronic image stabilisation (EIS) and an AI deblurring technology are supported by the selfie camera.
The smartphone weighs 190 kilos and has an 8.2 mm thickness. It is available in two colours: Gray Shadow, which has a dark sandstone surface with anti-glare treatment, and Jade Fog, which has a glossy jade green finish and misty undertones. The smartphone’s coating prevents sweat and fingerprints from adhering to it.
On July 5, the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G launched on sale in India. You may purchase it online from OnePlus.in, the OnePlus Store App, Amazon.in, or through a nearby approved partner store or OnePlus Experience store.
Prices start at Rs. 28,999 for the Gray Shadow 8GB+128GB model, Rs. 33,999 for the Gray Shadow 12GB+256GB variant, Rs. 28,999 for the Jade Fog 8GB+128GB variant, and Rs. 33,999 for the Jade Fog 12GB+256GB variant.

From July 5 to July 11, customers who purchase the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G using an ICICI credit or debit card are entitled for an immediate bank discount of Rs. 1500. Users of ICICI credit and debit cards may also take advantage of free EMI for up to three months till the end of July.
Additionally, consumers purchasing the new phone between July 5 and July 14 can exchange their previous OnePlus smartphone for a bonus of Rs. 3000 on OnePlus.in and the OnePlus Store App. A OnePlus Nord Handy Fanny Pack will be given out to the first 1,000 users of the OnePlus Store App.
