China’s company Xiaomi can be credited with starting the 48-megapixel camera trends. The company first introduced 48-megapixel rear camera in its Smartphone Redmi Note 7 Pro in India. This smartphone was launched in February this year. Xiaomi is once again preparing to bring new trends in the market. Xiaomi is now preparing to bring 64 megapixel camera into its smartphone.
A few days ago, a tipster had indicated in his Weibo Post that Xiaomi can launch a smartphone soon, with a 64-megapixel camera. Now the XDA Developers website has received some codes for the Redmi K20 Pro in MIUI 10’s Camera app.
The codes clearly mention the term like 64 megapixel dual camera and ultra pixels. However, Xiaomi has not done any official confirmation about the 64-megapixel camera. But, these two leaks indicate that the company is preparing to bring 64 megapixel camera smartphones.
The most interesting thing is that Xiaomi can use the 64-megapixel ISOCELL Bright GW1 camera sensor announced in Samsung’s latest smartphone. This means that Xiaomi can bring a smartphone with a 64-megapixel camera before using Samsung’s technology. The important thing is that at present Samsung is the only company to create a smartphone, which has developed 64 megapixel sensor. Earlier news had come that Samsung could launch its smartphone Galaxy A70 with a 64-megapixel sensor. However, later this smartphone was launched with a 32 megapixel sensor.
