The Nothing phone (1) will be released on July 12th. While specifics on the phone remain scant, new information about the London-based startup’s first smartphone continues to emerge on the internet.

According to a recent leak from tipster Mukul Sharma (@stufflistings), the Nothing phone (1) will be available for pre-order on the Indian e-commerce platform Flipkart soon. According to the tweet, consumers will be able to pre-order the phone (1) for Rs 2,000, which will be removed from the total price of the phone if purchased after July 12.

The tweet also implies that the Nothing phone (1) would be available soon after the official launch date of July 12. The pre-booking offer, which has yet to go live, will reportedly be available until July 18, implying that sales may begin beyond that date.

We also discover that the Nothing phone (1) will come in a variety of memory options, however, it’s still unknown whether the phone will be available in any other colours save the white one that Nothing recently announced.

Nothing’s first smartphone is believed to be an upper mid-range handset with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 CPU, according to leaks. A 6.55-inch HD+ OLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate is reportedly predicted, as well as a 4,500mAh/5,000mAh battery that will enable both wired and wireless charging.

While we may not see a 3.5mm headphone jack or an alert slider due to the phone’s design, we do know it will have flat, metallic edges and a dual-camera configuration on the back. It is also expected to come pre-installed with NothingOS, which is powered on Android 12.
