HMD Global is recognized for bringing Nokia-branded smartphones back to life, such as the G-series, X-series, and even the Nokia 8110, also known as the “Banana phone”. Today, the business expanded its product portfolio with the global introduction of its first tablet, the Nokia T20 tablet.
The Nokia T20 tablet launch introduces Nokia-branded tablets and presents a new T-series in the company’s product portfolio. The tablet has a 2K screen, a lengthy battery life of 18 hours, and an immersive audio experience.
Specifications for the Nokia T20 tablet
The Nokia T20 tablet has a 10.4-inch display with a 2K resolution of 1200×2000 pixels, 400 nits of peak brightness, and reinforced cover glass. The tablet is powered by a 1.8GHz T610 CPU. This is paired with up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage capacity, upgraded with a 512GB microSD card. The tablet runs on the Android 11 mobile operating system, and HMD Global has promised two years of OS updates.
The Nokia T20 camera has an 8-megapixel camera with an LED flash on the back. It sports a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies. There are two microphones, stereo speakers with a power amplifier, and an FM radio as well. The tablet has a non-removable 8,200mAh6 battery and a 15W charger. According to HMD Global, this battery may last up to 18 hours on a single charge.
Price and availability
Starting October 6, the Ocean Blue color variant of the Nokia T20 tablet will be available in various markets worldwide. It will be offered in three storage options. First is 3GB RAM + 32GB storage space with WiFi connectivity. And rest two models have 4GB RAM, 64GB storage space with WiFi connectivity, and 4GB RAM, 64GB storage space with LTE connectivity. It will be sold for 199 Euros (about 17,209). HMD Global is yet to reveal information on availability in India.
