Nissan has given an all-digital colour display in Magnite which makes it different from other SUVs. Nissan has given many such safety features in Magnite. These features are not there in any vehicle in this segment. The company has also started pre-booking of this SUV.

Nissan will launch the new Magnite SUV later this month. Prior to the launch, the price of the Magnite SUV has reportedly been leaked through dealers. According to media reports, the price of the new Magnite SUV will start from 5.50 lakhs. If this happens then this car will be the cheapest in its segment. Customers will not have to pay more than Rs 9 lakh for the top variant. Here, if a customer chooses an optional tech pack, which will have facilities like wireless phone charging, etc., the price may increase slightly.

If the price structure is true, the new Nissan Magnite will prove to be a lower-priced SUV. It is better than some of the premium hatchbacks in the market, including the recently launched Hyundai i20.

Nissan officially announced the new Magnet SUV on 20 October. The Japanese carmaker recently launched the production version of the Magnite SUV. When launched, it will take on other sub-compact SUVs like the Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonnet, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Toyota Urban Cruiser and Mahindra XUV300.

Nissan is mainly focusing on the over-crowded sub-compact SUV segment. People are expecting that the new Magnite SUV will make a big splash with its looks, features, engine options and drive comfort. If all these features are added and the leaked price is to be believed then it can beat other vehicles in its segment.


Nissan will put Magnite in 20 more variants with four wider trims – XE, XL, XV and XV Premium. Information about the engine of Magnite SUV has also been leaked. In this, you will get HRA0 1.0-liter turbo engine that will give a maximum power of 100 Ps. While the vehicle claims to offer 160 Nm of peak torque.

Talking about the available transmission options, it will get a 5-speed manual unit as well as Nissan’s acclaimed X-Tronic CVT box. The new Magnite SUV will come in three dual-tone shades along with five single-tone colour options.
