Naga Chaitanya reveals about appearing on the chat show after Samantha’s Koffee With Karan debut
The actor Naga Chaitanya said he would be open to participating in Karan Johar’s talk programme Koffee With Karan while he is promoting his movie Laal Singh Chaddha. When asked in an interview whether he would participate in KWK, Chaitanya responded, “On Koffee With Karan, why not if I get a chance? Karan Johar is great, I love the work he does. If he wants to have me, why not?” After his ex-wife, actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu appeared on the show, this happened.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu recently spoke up about their less than amicable post-separation scenario. After four years of marriage, the pair announced their split last year.
Samantha corrected Karan and stated “ex-husband” when he questioned her about the online harassment she had to deal with after divorcing him. In response to the outrage, Samantha said she couldn’t really complain because up until that point, she had freely chosen to share her life with her fans. She said, “I couldn’t really complain about it because I chose that path. I chose to be transparent and I chose to reveal a lot of my life. And when the separation happened, I couldn’t be too upset about it because they invested in my life and it was my responsibility to have answers, which I didn’t at that point of time.”
She said that “It has been hard but it’s good now. It’s fine. I am stronger than I have ever been,” when asked how she was doing. When Karan Johar questioned further about if Samantha and Naga Chaitanya had any animosity toward one another, Samantha responded, “Like if you put us both in a room, you have to hide sharp objects? Yeah. As of now, yes. But maybe someday in the future,” indicating that the current state of affairs was not amicable.
