On Thursday, Motorola Edge 30 Pro was released in India (February 24). The new Motorola phone is the successor to last year’s Motorola Edge 20 Pro. The Motorola Edge 30 Pro features a 144Hz pOLED display and three back cameras. The smartphone also has 68W rapid charging capabilities and a water-resistant design.

It has a feature dubbed ‘Ready For,’ which allows users to browse their mobile applications on a large screen or use the phone as a camera for video conferences held on a Windows 11 laptop. The Motorola Edge 30 Pro competes with devices such as the Asus ROG Phone 5s, the Vivo X70 Pro, and the iQoo 9 series.

The Motorola Edge 30 Pro, as rumour has it, is mostly based on the Motorola Edge X30, which was released in China last November. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, which is presently the fastest chipset available for Android phones, is the star of the show. This processor has previously been spotted on the Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro, iQOO 9 Pro, and the Samsung Galaxy S22 series.

This processor is paired with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The phone will come pre-installed with Android 12, and the new Motorola MyUX skin is similar to the Material You theme found on the Pixel 6 series. As a result, you get practically the Google Pixel experience right out of the box.
