Moto G 5G, India’s cheapest 5G phone, has arrived

Saying goodbye to 4G connectivity, the telecommunications world is today at the doorstep of 5G networks. Ahead of the change, mobile phone makers have recently launched 5G phones. Initially, the premium 5G phones were more expensive, but now the cheaper ones are also available. It is the newest player in the industry. Motorola, the American smartphone brand owned by Lenovo, has introduced the Moto G 5G as the most affordable 5G smartphone in India.

The Moto G5G is for Rs 20,999 with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. With a price of Rs 24,999, the OnePlus Nord was the cheapest 5G phone in India so far.
The Moto G 5G will go on sale on December 7 via Flipkart, an e-commerce website. Available in two colours, Volcanic Gray and Frosted Silver, the phone comes with a cashback of Rs 1,000 on HDFC Bank cards.

Moto G 5G Specifications

The Moto G 5G has a 6.7-inch (1,080×2,400 pixel) LTPS display with Full HD + resolution and 394 PPI pixel density. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor. The Moto G 5G runs on the Android 10 operating system. The 128GB onboard memory with expansion up to 1TB with an SD card.

The phone has a 48-megapixel primary camera (F / 1.7 aperture) and an 8-megapixel secondary wide-angle sensor with a 118-degree field of view. The third camera is a 2-megapixel macro sensor with f / 2.4 lens. A 16-megapixel camera with f / 2.2 aperture is mounted on the front of the phone for selfies and video calling.

The phone has a 5,000mAh battery with 20W turbopower fast charging support. Motorola claims that this battery will last for up to two days on a full charge. Connectivity options include 5G, NFC, Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 802.11ac and a USB Type-C port. The Moto G 5G is IP52 certified for dust protection.
