Maruti Suzuki will launch WagonR model based first electric car in 2020.
The country’s largest car maker, Maruti Suzuki, can launch its first electric car in 2020. According to media reports, the company’s first electric car can be based on WagonR. Considering the future of electric cars, Maruti has decided that it will launch its first electric car in India in the next two years. Now Maruti sells petrol, diesel, hybrid and CNG models in India. New Electric WagonR can be prepared in Suzuki’s Gujarat-based plant. However, no confirmation has been received regarding the manufacturing plant. In such a case, it can also be made in Maruti Manesar or Gurugram plant.
In India, the WagonR is prepared in the Gurugram factory. The magic of this car, launched for the first time in 1999, is still on the Indians. Maruti has sold more than 20 lakh units. This manual and Auto Gear shift is available in both versions.
