The Karnataka government has taken a strong decision to stop the fast-spreading coronavirus. The state government has completely banned vehicles, trains, and flights coming from Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Gujarat. Recently, the central government has approved the operation of limited trains, flights, and interstate road transport services.
In fact, only two-thirds of the country’s corona-positive patients are in these five states. The number of corona patients in Maharashtra has crossed 58 thousand. About 19 thousand have been found in Tamil Nadu, 15,205 patients in Gujarat, about 8 thousand patients in Rajasthan, and more than 7 thousand corona positive patients in Madhya Pradesh.
On Wednesday, a passenger traveling by a Bangalore-Madurai aircraft of IndiGo was found to be Covid-19 positive. The passenger was detected positive during the required screening. The airline said on Thursday that it had been sent to the Quarantine Center.
Half a dozen Corona patients met on different flights so far
Domestic flights have started operating in the country since Monday. So far, about half a dozen passengers traveling through three different airlines have been found Corona positive.
