Kantara completes 50 days in theatres, still going strong at the box office
Kantara, directed by Rishab Shetty and released on September 30 in Karnataka, quickly became a major hit with both audiences and critics. It quickly performed its magic in Malayalam, Hindi, and Telugu. 50 days have passed since the blockbuster first opened in theatres. Its total revenue has reached Rs 370 crore worldwide. Additionally, it’s still running on a significant percentage of displays. Rishab Shetty is the director and main character of the action-thriller Kantara. Vijay Kirgandur under Hombale Films produces the movie.
In India, Kantara is still showing on more than 900 screens.
A traditional dance for the deity called Bhootha Kola is the focus of the action thriller Kantara. Kishore, Achyuth Kumar, Sapthami Gowda, and Pramod Shetty all play significant roles in the movie. The KGF franchise’s production company, Hombale Films, is run by Vijay Kirgandur. Rishab Shetty previously made a suggestion that the movie might receive a prequel or possibly a sequel because it has a lot of subplots that could be explored in more detail.
In the interim, it has been rumoured that Kantara would make its OTT debut on November 24. Regarding this, no formal notification has yet been made.
