‘Israel targeted Syrian military base’.

Syria’s official television reports say that Israel has fired missiles at a military base outside Syrian capital Damascus in the night. These were ground-to-ground missiles.
It has been said in the report that this attack has caused damage, although two missiles have been killed. The Israeli army has not confirmed such an attack.
The UK-based surveillance group Syrian Observatory for Human Rights had earlier said that there were explosions near Damascus. The group has described the suspected Israeli attacks as a reason.
It is not known yet how much the damage is due to the attack, but in the TV report it has been said that there is a lot of harm.
Israel has already attacked such bases to prevent supply of arms to Syrian Lebanese allies Hezbollah.
