During its March Spring Event on Tuesday, March 8, Apple officially announced the release of its most sought model, the iPhone SE 3 or iPhone SE (2022). In India, the iPhone SE 3 begins at Rs. 43,900. Following the release of the new model, Apple is likely to cut the price of its previous counterpart, the iPhone SE 2020.
The pricing of the iPhone SE 3 indicates that it is priced similarly to the iPhone SE 2. The iPhone SE 3 will be available in three colours: midnight, starlight, and red. It will be available worldwide beginning March 18.
Users in Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Japan, the United Kingdom, and more than 30 other countries will be able to pre-order the iPhone SE on Friday, March 11 at 5 a.m. PST.
The A15 Bionic chip, which debuted with the iPhone 13, will now be available in the iPhone SE. The iPhone SE 3’s processor, like the A15 utilised in the iPhone 13, includes a 6-core CPU and a 16-core Neural Engine.
According to the business, the A15 Bionic has a strong 6-core CPU with two high-performance cores and four high-efficiency cores, which makes the iPhone SE up to 1.8x quicker than the iPhone 8, and even faster when compared to prior versions.
The new iPhone has a 4.7-inch display and is made of aerospace-grade aluminium and glass on the front and back. Unlike the iPhone 13 Series phones, it retains Touch ID. The phone is also water and dust resistant, having IP67 certification. The iPhone SE 3 sports a stronger glass covering on the front and back, just as the iPhone 13 series phones.
It, too, has a single back camera, as does the iPhone SE 2. The camera has a 12-megapixel sensor, and Apple claims that the new iPhone has greater photographic capabilities than the iPhone SE 2 thanks to the performance and functionality of the A15 Bionic CPU.
