We have often seen people giving congratulations on Women’s Day, but do you know when Men’s Day is celebrated? International Men’s Day is celebrated every year on 19 November. It is celebrated in more than 60 countries in the world.

Celebration of International Men’s Day in India has already started 13 years ago. It was first celebrated in the year 2007. It started in 1998 in Trinidad and Tobago if we talk globally. Dr Jerome Tilak Singh thought of celebrating Men’s Day, appreciating the contribution of men. He first celebrated World Men’s Day on his father’s birthday. Dr Jerome started this by taking the initiative of International Men’s Day and since then it has been celebrated every year.

A theme is kept every year on International Men’s Day. This year’s theme is ‘Better Health for Man and Boys’.

When we talk about men’s health, many bugs start peeping. Many working people do not pay proper attention to their health due to laziness, which is wrong. Sometimes due to a little carelessness, they may have to face serious problems. Very few men go to the doctor for a checkup compared to women.

Try to stay away from white food – Remove all white food from your food. Do not include white flour, sugar and processed food in your diet. The natural fibre, vitamins and minerals present in it increase the sugar level in the blood, due to which you can become a victim of diabetes along with weight gain, heart-related diseases. Eat fibre-rich fruits, vegetables, peeled and whole grains.

Say no to trans fat – While you should control the fat going in your body, it is very important to understand what kind of fat you are eating. Deep fry is trans fat and also things made from hydrogenated oils. Due to which the risk of heart-related diseases increases. Eat healthy fat like olive oil and omega-3.

Include weight training in exercise – Aerobic exercise is good for your heart. If you do not do it daily, then do it once a week. Maintain a certain weight – where everyone is busy losing weight on one side. In this case, maintain a certain weight. This will make you look and feel better as well.
