A day before the release of the Controversial film ‘God, Sex and Truth’, a case has been registered against filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma. Varma has made this film about American porn star Mia Malkova and on a complaint of a social activist, the Hyderabad Police has registered a case against them for spreading obscenity. Please tell that the film is being released on January 26 at 9 a.m.
Case against Ram Gopal Varma under section 67 of the IT Act 2000, has been registered under electronic form for transmitting pornographic material.
Central Crime Station has registered a case against social activist Devi and her colleagues. A police officer told that the complaint was told that Verma has shared some pictures on social media, one of which is obscene pictures.
Section 506 and 509 of the IPC have also been imposed as a personal comment on those opposing the film against Verma. They have also charged charging women with indecency. Police say that they will seek legal advice before taking action and investigate.
Meanwhile, the women’s group performed in Hyderabad to ban the film and immediately arrest Varma. The All India Democratic Womens Association, AP women council and other groups slogan against Ram Gopal.
It is alleged that Verma is releasing the film on the web to avoid the hassles of certification from the authorities. Organizations say Verma is promoting pornography by showing women as sex objects.
Ram Gopal also tweeted with the film snapshot, “I fully believe that there is no beautiful place like women on earth.”
