
India and Singapore must fight terrorism together: PM Modi
Singapore, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed joint press conference with Singapore’s PM Lee Hsien Loong on Friday. PM will also participate in many important programs and Shangri-La dialogues. On the relations between India and Singapore, Modi said that both the countries were important allies.
PM also said that India and Singapore have to work together for stability and peace in Asia. The Prime Minister said to the Indian community settled in Singapore that there are a large number of Indians living here and they represent two nations. The CEO of Singapore was very happy to see the faith for India.
The PM said, “India has come to the test of Singapore’s strategic partnership. There is only warmth and trust in our relationships. We reviewed progress in our bilateral relations and discussed future relations. A second review of the Comprehensive Economic Cooperation and we will go ahead. Singapore is an important source of FDI for India. This is a favorite destination for investment in India from abroad. ‘

We also welcome the completion of the logistic agreement between the navies. ‘
PM stressed the need to work together on challenges before the two countries. He said that fighting cyber security, extremist forces and terrorism are our main areas of cooperation and we consider them the biggest threat.
