Hyundai i20 new model launched before Diwali, available in both diesel and petrol, know the price and features

The new model of Hyundai i20, which became very popular in the last few years, has been launched by the company. The new Hyundai i20 model is available in both petrol and diesel variants. Petrol variants have a value from Rs 6.80 lakh to Rs 11.18 lakh. While the diesel variants are from Rs 8.20 lakh to Rs 10.64 lakh.

The new generation Hyundai i20 has been launched in four variants, including first, Manga second, Sportz third, Asta and fourth, Asta (O). Keep in mind that this price of Hyundai i20 will be valid till December 31, 2020.
Talking about the engine, it is available in three variants. First 1.2 litre naturally SP rated petrol, second 1.0-litre turbo-petrol and third 1.5-litre diesel. While a manual gearbox will be there with both the 1.2 petrol and 1.5 diesel. The 1.0 turbo will have only one manual transmission option.

The 1.2-litre petrol generates 87 BHP and 115 NM of torque on the IVT variant, while the manual generates 82 BHP and 115 NM of torque. The 1.5-litre diesel generates 99 BHP and 240 NM and the powerful 1-litre turbo petrol 118 BHP and 172 Nm peak torque.

Speaking of mileage, Hyundai has claimed 20.25 kmpl on the 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine. Whereas, the 1.2-litre manual gives mileage of up to 20.35 kmpl. The IVT variant gets 19.65 kmpl and 1.5.2-litre diesel at 25.2 kmpl mileage.


Looking at the features of Hyundai i20, it comes with BlueLink connectivity, which makes it a connected car. The new Zen Hyundai comes with rear AC vents, climate control, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Sunroof.
It has a new digital instrument cluster as well as cool animation, and a TFT screen that also includes tire pressure monitoring. The centre stage on the dashboard is a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. There are some physical switches and buttons for essential functions on the central console, as well as wireless charging.
