HBO’s Game of Thrones prequel series House of the Dragon has released its debut teaser and based on how it now stands, it appears to be a promising successor to the original record-breaking programme.
The very lengthy film provides us with a preview of the civil war that Westeros is going to experience as the issue of who is the true successor to the iron kingdom surfaces. The spin-off is supposedly set at least 300 years before the events of Game of Thrones, according to a previous announcement from HBO.
Dragons are prominently featured in the new advertisement in addition to the main characters because the show’s name contains a dragon. The clothing and special effects both look great. Naturally, the story has a significant impact on everything else. Will Game of Thrones succeed because of House of the Dragon, or maybe not? We will need to wait at least another month to find out the response.
The main cast includes Eve Best as Princess Rhaenys Velaryon, Fabien Frankel as Ser Criston Cole, Sonoya Mizuno as Mysaria, Rhys Ifans as Otto Hightower, Olivia Cooke as Alicent Hightower, Steve Toussaint as Lord Corlys Velaryon, Paddy Considine as King Viserys I, and Matt Smith as Prince Daemon Targaryen.
The first episode of House of the Dragon will air on HBO Max on August 21 and Disney Plus Hotstar in India on August 22.
