HCL announces Rs 700 crore bonus: Revenue exceeds $ 10 billion

HCL Technologies with an important announcement for its employees. The company has announced a special bonus of Rs 700 crore for its total employees as its revenue has crossed $ 10 billion. With this, over one and a half lakh employees serving HCL from all over the world will get the bonus. The company’s revenue in 2020 has crossed $ 10 billion. It has grown by 3.6 per cent in fixed currency. The bonus is one year of service or more, which is equal to ten days’ salary.

The company had posted a net profit of Rs 3,982 crore in the December quarter. This is an increase of 31.1 per cent over the same period last year. The company has also declared an interim dividend of Rs 4 per share.

The special bonus will make payment to employees in February 2021, and in some countries will be around $ 90 million in salary tax, the impact of which the company has excluded from the FY21 ebit guidelines issued last month, HCL Tech said.

HCL Tech’s revenue rose 3.8 per cent to Rs 19,302 crore in the December quarter, up 6.4 per cent. Profit rose to Rs 3,982 crore. 26.7 per cent increase to 31.1 per cent increase. Fixed currencies for Q4 and FY21, including DWS contributions, are expected to grow by 2% to 3%. The average is expected to be between 21.0 per cent and 21.5 per cent this financial year. Shares of HCL Tech have also risen 60% over the past year.
