During Google’s I/O event in May, the Google Pixel 6a, Pixel Watch, and Google Pixel Buds Pro were all announced. The latest device from the tech giant hasn’t yet had its India launch date officially confirmed, but a new rumour says that it will do so on July 21. The Google Pixel 6a’s pricing in India has also been leaked. It is anticipated to launch in the aggressive sub-Rs. 40,000 pricing range.

The Google Pixel 6a is equipped with a Titan M2 security coprocessor and the company’s own Tensor processor. It sports two back cameras and a 6.1-inch display. On July 21 in India, pre-orders for the Google Pixel Buds Pro will start. On Twitter, tipper Sahil Karoul (@KaroulSahil) has revealed the Google Pixel 6a’s debut date and price in India. The device will reportedly go on sale in the nation on July 21 at a suggested retail price of Rs. 43,999. Another well-known tipper, Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd), asserted that the Google Pixel 6a will be sold at Rs. 37,999 when it is released.

The device will begin taking pre-orders in the US on July 21, however, Google has not yet confirmed that it will be released in India. The country will also start accepting pre-orders for Google Pixel Buds Pro on July 21, and sales will begin on July 28.

The Google Pixel 6a, which costs $449, was released in May. (roughly Rs. 34,800). It comes in the colours Chalk, Charcoal, and Sage.

Specifications for the Google Pixel 6a

The 6.1-inch full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) OLED display on the dual-SIM (Nano+eSIM) Google Pixel 6a has a 20:9 aspect ratio and a refresh rate of 60 Hz. It runs Android 12 out of the box. Additionally, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 is used to protect the display. A Titan M2 security coprocessor and an octa-core Google Tensor SoC, along with 6GB of LPDDR5 RAM, power it. A 12.2-megapixel primary sensor and a 12-megapixel secondary sensor are part of the Pixel 6a camera equipment. Other notable features of the phone include an in-display fingerprint sensor, 128GB of internal storage, an 8-megapixel selfie camera, and a 4,410mAh battery.
