While some of the year’s most important flagships, such as the Samsung Galaxy Z foldable and the iPhone 13 series, have already been unveiled, Google has yet to unveil its Pixel 6 lineup. After years of missing out, Google will finally enter the luxury smartphone market with the next handsets. The Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro are the two smartphones that Google is planning to release. The devices are set to go on sale next month. A new leak has revealed key details regarding the Google Pixel 6 Pro ahead of its launch.

XDA Developers’ editor-in-chief Mishaal Rahmaan got a slew of details about the impending Pixel 6 Pro, according to a report. According to the report, the Pixel 6 Pro will not support Active Edge. The capability was already found on some previous Pixel devices. It allows you to activate Google Assistant by squeezing the phone’s sides. Unfortunately, it will not be included in the Pixel 6 Pro’s feature set. The smartphone, on the other hand, will support Quick Tap. It’s essentially a new feature that needs users to activate the voice assistant by double-tapping the back of the phone. Furthermore, with ‘Battery Share,’ the smartphone is expected to offer reverse wireless charging.

According to the rumor, the Pixel 6 Pro’s display would have a resolution of 1,440×3,120 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. However, it is unknown whether or not the refresh rate will be configurable. A digital vehicle key app could be preinstalled on the forthcoming premium smartphone. Using NFC or ultra-wideband support, consumers will be able to unlock their automobile with their smartphone (UWB). UWB is a short-range wireless communication standard that allows you to track the location of surrounding items.

In addition, the smartphone will include 5G, 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and at least one 128GB storage capacity. In terms of the hardware, the Pixel 6 Pro’s GPU is believed to be Mali-G78, with a clock speed of up to 848MHz.

With a 50MP Samsung GN1 sensor, a 12MP Sony IMX386 ultra-wide sensor, and a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor on the back, the Google Pixel 6 Pro is said to include a triple rear camera configuration. It is said to have a 4x optical zoom and a feature known as ‘baby mode.’ You might receive a 12MP Sony IMX663 selfie camera on the front. A 5,000mAh battery is said to be included in the Pixel 6 Pro. It’s anticipated to have a fingerprint scanner built into the display.
