Google going to launch a new phone in India soon!

Gadgets Technology

The Pixel 4a was the most recent Pixel gadget to arrive in India. It was released in October 2020, therefore it has been more than a year since we have seen a Google phone in the nation. Rumours about the Pixel 6 series have started to circulate. Those, however, did not come to fruition. A recent development suggests that a new Google Phone is on its way to India. Mysmartprice noticed the gadget in a purported BIS listing with the model number “GX7AS.”

The Pixel 6a has yet to make an international splash. Slated to be a watered-down version of the Pixel 6, this one might attain a very low price tag to compete with Apple’s incoming iPhone SE 3, which is expected to be priced cheaper this year at $300. According to certain reports, Google may continue to provide the same elegant Pixel 6 design on the Pixel 6a, but with a few modifications.

According to rumours so far, the Pixel 6a will have the same design language as the Pixel 6. The smartphone is expected to feature a somewhat smaller form factor than the Pixel 5a 5G.
On the front, there might be a 6.2-inch OLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz/120Hz. The phone is believed to have Google’s Tensor chipset, which was first seen in the Pixel 6 family.

In terms of cameras, the Pixel 6a is expected to include a 12.2-megapixel primary camera and a 16-megapixel ultrawide lens. On the front, there may be an 8-megapixel camera for selfies. This camera setup is identical to that of the Pixel 5a 5G.

It is worth noting that most multinational products have BIS certification but are never released in India. As a result, there is a likelihood that Google will not release any Pixel products in the nation. Google has previously intimated that it intends to do something for the Pixel series in India but has never provided a firm response.
