The famous short video TikTok has been removed from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store in India. Google and Apple took this decision after the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting directed to ban 59 Chinese apps. The government says that these apps threaten India’s security and society. TikTok India has issued a statement on the charge of stealing data and sharing it. The company said that their app works according to Indian law and does not share information with any government, including the Chinese government. Nikhil Gandhi, the head of Tiktok India, said that he would meet Indian government officials and present his views.
