Eros Now, on Thursday confronted the anger of a part of online media audiences.

The OTT platform got into controversy for a couple of posts on its Twitter account.

Eros Now has now erased the disputable posts. And gave an expression of remorse from the netizens, who all started to blacklist the eros now on Twitter.

Twitter clients required a prohibition on Eros Now, making #BoycottErosNow one of the top patterns on Twitter for quite a while.

Following the shock, Eros Now gave an announcement: “We at Eros love and regard our societies similarly.

It isn’t, and it has never been our goal to hurt anybody’s feelings. We have erased the concerned posts and apologize for having insulted anyone’s slants.”

Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut, known for her outspokenness also hammered the posts.

In a progression of tweets, Kangana, demanded protecting film as a “network seeing performance center insight”.
